Two months ago, my cousin's son drew his first breath. The newborn is healthy and so lovely, a marvelous bless to my cousin and his wife. As a matter of fact, this is their second child. However, their first child passed away due to congenital heart disease. It was a difficult time to come through, but my cousin and his wife made it. The love between them is tremendous and seamless, which is the principal reason why they could overcome the strait of life.
On Saturday afternoon, we visited them after a long drive by my aunt. It was the first time I saw the baby in real thought I've shared their joy via the photos on Facebook. The baby sleeps almost all day, inasmuch as he is only 2-month-old. Never mind, a sleeping baby is always cute. Luckily, after we had dinner in a local 99 dollar stir-fry restaurant (99元快炒), the baby woke up. This kind of restaurants is prevailing in Taiwan. It provides lots of choices of different local cuisines. Each dish costs 99 NTDs, quite cheap for a group of people to eat. Return to the topic, I took several pictures of the baby by my cellphone. He smiled while looking into the camera. No doubt a baby's smile can melt a frozen heart. Ah, I didn't mean that I have a frozen heart by the way.

Currently, my cousin is doing a PhD in Law in Germany. His wife was in Germany accompanying him before she was pregnant. They decided to have thier kid raised in Taiwan in his first eight months. Therefore, they are so far apart now. Frankfurt and Taichung. But I sincerely belive they are able to go through this period readily and eventually live a happy life in Germany next year.
