I booked "Italian Phrasebook" by Lonely Planet for the trip to Italy next summer. I also read some books about Italy, and I think Venice is quite fascinating. Nonetheless, the price of the hotels there is exorbitant and all the rooms seem small. Some of the rooms have canal views, and I hope they are worth the money.
It is likely that I will book this hotel," Hotel C'a D'oro." It is located in the old center of Venice. Some visitors who stayed there before says that the hotel avoids the noise and busy streets filled with tourists, but is no lack of restaurants or attractions in the immediate vicinity. Tranquil ambience in picturesque courtyard, it has enchanted me at the first sight on the web. Now I have to pray that it won't disappoint me after we arrive at Venice.
In fact, I have bought several phrasebooks of Lonely Planet for traveling. The French one and the Japanese one were instrumental to my trips. But I still don't have any opportunity to utilize the others. If I achieve my dream to travel around the world, one of my bags will be packed with them.
