Not Good in English

I know I'm not good at English. I'm not comparing myself to most of the Taiwaners. Actually, I believe that my English ability is better than most of the locals here. However, when I've finally made up my mind to apply for the graduate school in translating and interpreting of 2013 since this March, that means I still require a lot of improvements in English.

You may be curious about it. Chinese, or Mandarin, is the official language in Taiwan, and of course, in China, why do I love to study English? Is that due to the mundane thought: English is a international language? Or my craze for the reality show "The Amazing Race" and many other comedy series such as "30 Rock," "Morden Family," "Sex and The City," "Desperate Housewives," "Drop, Dead, Diva," "CSI: NY," (oh, this one is not a comedy) leads me to a dreamland where everyone speaks English? Or perhaps my travel experiences taught me a lesson; that is, English is the principal language to set up the connection between people from different culture.

Another question, a more imperative one, is why I would rather choose to spend a lot of money on the graduate school instead of being a doctor earning money in Taiwan. A really tough one for me. I have to acknowledge that I have no idea of the answer, either.

I do wish sincerely as I manage this blog to practice my Englsih, I am able to figure out the answer for myself in the future. If you just read the article, welcome to response with your opinions for the English mistakes I made in the article, for the point fo view you agree or disagree, for anything you want to write realted to my words. Hope everybody have a good time here.
