After 3 years training at the Family and Community Medicine Department of my hospital, passing the family medicine specialty examination, I finally received the certificate last week and have officially become a qualified family physician.
I am lucky to have a great residentship in the hospital : nice coworkers, acceptable pay, advancement of knowledge, and even having enough holidays to travel around different countries ( Japan 4 times, China, the United States, Hong Kong and Macau, Italy and Netherlands, and South Korea ). It's rare in Taiwan where most doctors are forced to sacrifice themselves to work. Thank God I made a right decision to choose this road.
Getting a new qualification also means there is a new crossroad in my life. I have no idea what my next job will be. The only thing clear is the crazy 3-month cuisine and pastry courses at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. I am worried about that very much because I am totally a beginner of cooking.
Hope everything is going well in Paris, and I can find a good job at local clinics when I go back to Taiwan.
