Driving to Naples from Amalfi, the streets of Naples was a little bit in disorder to us. The apartment we booked was in a small lane near the port. The location was great, but the neighbor seemed unsafe. The buildings looked old (not in a good way) and poorly preserved. Few people walked outside. I knew that was because we arrived at night. So I thought it was okay. Besides, the inside of the apartment was acceptable.
The next day, after we went back from Capri, we went for dinner. Since we were in Naples, we couldn't miss the famous Neapolitan Margherita pizza. We walked from the apartment to Da Michele. The walk was not pleasant because the streets was not clean. There were some beautiful and historical architectures, but not enough to decorate the city. And unfortunately, Da Michele wasn't open when we got there. I was nervous when I realized that we might have no chance to taste Neapolitan pizza (we would go to Rome the next morning). A friendly guy seeing us standing in front of the closed pizzeria told us that there was another pizzeria nearby - Trianon da Ciro. We ordered four pizzas including Margherita, the only kind for vegetarian. I finally understood why the pizza here is world-famous. Juicy, delicious, big enough for all of us. Definitely the best I have eaten in Italy.
