Looking at the bright side- I have earned some extra money in recent two months that enable me to afford some other trips in the future (and maybe my first digital camera, a compact one of course since I am too lazy and not rich enough to change lens for the camera). The weather is cold in Taiwan now, but I guess it is much colder in the Europe or the US. My brother works in Sheyang(瀋陽), China. He said it was freaking freezing. The temperature is usually subzero in winter there. In fact, my family don't celebrate Christmas because it has no special meaning to us. However, Christmas is my favorite festival. I always tried to do something different during the holiday. One year at college, I had a Christmas feast alone. It was kind of a "blue Christmas" for me. And last year, my dream came true to see the Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center on Christmas Eve.
It seems that this year I won't do anything to celebrate the holiday. Maybe I am too old for that. Or I might go to a restaurant with my family. Anyway, I do wish everyone a merry Christmas, and, for sure, a happy 2012.
